Kansas Department of Agriculture’s (KDA) food safety and lodging program conducted an expected follow-up retail food inspection on 9/8/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Little Caesar’s was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Kansas food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Establishment uses time as a public health control (TPHC) but the employees could not retrieve written procedure for TPHC. Not corrected on site.
  • On tall rack, the pre-made pizzas held as TPHC were not marked for time. Corrected on site (COS)- Employees stated pizzas had been made at 11, marked pizzas for time.
  • In the back area, on the back wall there was one live cockroach. On the floor behind the south prep table, there was one live baby cockroach. Establishment had pest control invoice from service that was conducted today. No other service records available. Suggested aggressive pest control measures.
