The Kansas of Agriculture’s Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 3/2/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Blaze Pizza was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Kansas food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 2 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Located at the food prep sink, a cookie was sitting on the counter and had one live fly on the cookie. Corrected on site, cookie voluntarily discarded.
  • Located at the food prep sink, there were 5-10 small winged insects flying around. (Repeat) Not corrected on site. Pest control could not be provided during visit.
